For Regulated Lobbying
Many European NGOs dealing with political transparency see as the main problem of lobbying in EU its deregulation.
Despite the fact USA had first law regulation law passed in 1948, EU is still waiting and – as claimed by NGOs – is still lacking essential transparency.
For the ones who are interested in activistic point of view, we would like to recommend two organizations that are observing the situation of corporate lobbying in EU and abroad, as well. They are monitoring various field of lobbying through articles and studies – food industry lobby, automobile industry lobby, pharmaceutical industry lobby, etc.
The first is Brussels – based NGO Corporate European Observatory
The second is Corporate Watch from London
