If you are a visitor to the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art, don't miss the short film about the creation of the production Czech Hero, which is located on the ground floor right at the entrance to the exhibitions, it is definitely not to be missed! With this installation, the Online Hero project addresses the non-theatrical part of the public, for whom the contemporary topics of disinformation and political marketing are important, and shows how such complex topics can be portrayed in an artistic form.
The artistic director of the company Viliam Dočolomanský and the dramaturge Markéta Hrehorová talk in a short film about the path that the whole process of creating the production takes until the moment when it receives the audience's applause. "This time we focused on the topic of disinformation and political marketing, where we just didn't want to repeat the same phrases that are already being heard in the public space," says the dramaturg of the production, inviting the audience to see this topic treated in movement theatre accompanied by live music.
The exhibition was presented on 1 March and runs until 30 April 2024
