On Wednesday, June 18 at 7 PM, the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art will host the opening of the exhibition David Lynch: Up in Flames. The exhibition will present, for the first time in the Czech Republic, an extensive presentation of the visual art of David Lynch, an icon of world cinema. It will focus on drawings, photographs, lithographs, watercolors, and short experimental and animated films.

The opening will also feature our performative surprise. The program, led by Viliam Dočolomanský, has been created for you by performers Hana Varadzinová, Eliška Vavříková, Barbora Ješutová, Barbora Nechanická, musicians Marcel Bárta and Miloš Klápště, as well as Lucie Špačková, Lucia Škandíková, Kateřina Jirmanová, and sound designer Eva Svobodová.

The performance also serves as an invitation to an extraordinary November premiere of a new piece we are currently working on — an immersive experience that will take place directly within the exhibition space. Working title: BIG FISH.
