The physical and musical score is extremely powerful, imitating war and combat actions to the point of grotesque paroxysm, alternating solos with group choreography; it explores gesture, violence and the relationship to live music and noise. The performance, directed by Viliam Dočolomanský, is total and overwhelming (...), but it has nothing to do with documentary theatre: it forces the viewer to poke around in this story (even after watching it), to search for it in a forest of images and references (...), writes Andrea Pocosgnich about Commander for Teatro e critica.
